What are your hobbies?
I am also a wedding videographer and editor, so I am keen on making creative films. Capturing something on film, then adapting it into something beautiful really interests me. I also love going to music festivals and dancing the night away - give me a dance floor and I will be on it!
What are your favorite crafts and what's your craft space like?
I love creating anything for the home and upcycling is my favourite thing to do. Giving something a new lease of life makes me happy and it's great for the environment too. I am extremely lucky, as of late as we have just built a craft studio in our garden - it's fab! It is such a creative space to work in and it means my craft bits aren't invading the house anymore he he!
What do you craft along to?
I love love love getting Netflix on whilst I am crafting, I have watched so many shows whilst crafting for hours on end. It really relaxes me for some reason and means I get to binge watch a new series here and there.
What was the first project you ever made?
My earliest memory was making a squirrel out of clay at Primary school - I remember it resembled more of a brown blob with arms and legs, rather than an actual squirrel! I do however remember loving art at school, creating something from scratch and bringing it to life using different materials was so much fun and has definitely helped me to get to where I am now.
What are your favorite items to make?
Pom-poms, dreamcatchers and upcycling old furniture and accessories! Anything colourful and fun is right up my street and if it involves faux fur, then even better!
Which other craft blogs do you love to read?
My favourite craft blogs and Instagram accounts are mainly American crafters. I am so inspired by Kelly at Studio DIY - her work is just incredible and so up my street. I am also a massive fan of Instagram crafters 'AwwSam' and 'Hot Pink Pineapples' - their crafts are so funky and colourful, plus their creativity is brilliant.
