How would you describe your style and who are your style icons?
I would describe my style as kind of vintage- I love cardigans and lace and my oxfords. I don't have any one particular style icon, but I absolutely love going through Pinterest's "Women's Fashion" section for inspiration!
What's in your everyday make-up bag?
I'll be honest, I don't use a whole lot of makeup on a regular basis. Recently, I became obsessed with the Maybelline "The Nudes" palette. Can't go wrong with a nice liquid eyeliner either.
What is your beauty routine like?
Most days, I start with my "The Nudes" palette (mentioned above). I do the basic "eyeliner and mascara" combo. Two things I never forget, however: few swipes of blush and fill in my eyebrows! Oh and, can't leave the house without a fresh manicure!
If you could makeover a celebrity, who would it be and what look would you give them?
Not that she needs it, I would love to makeover the ever so amazing Lady Gaga! I would love to see her in simple makeup, a light smokey eye and blush. And of course I would have to give her a killer manicure. Something over the top, just like her!
Any tips for someone wanting to mix up their look?
I'm going to go nail related on this question- try something crazy! I can't tell you how many people I've heard say that they think they're too old to be rocking nail art! I believe that this simply is a ridiculous statement. Nail art is something fun and for all! How else can you rock some badass art on your body? Take advantage of your nails and the ability to have them painted. I can assure you that I'll be rocking nail art as long as I live!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I really like looking at DIY projects and crafts, but rarely actually get to try. Obviously, painting nails is my main hobby. I enjoy different things day to day, but hiking is definitely one of my favorite pastimes. I am constantly listening to music, usually entire albums at a time. Oh, and is shopping a hobby?
