When did you first start making jewelry and how did you learn?
Maybe 2005? Learned from magazines and books and just trying to figure it out on my own.
Can you remember the first piece you made?
A simple strung necklace.
Where do you look for inspiration?
Everywhere! Any interesting piece I see, I want to figure out how to make it myself.
What's your craft space like and how do you organize your supplies?
I pretty much stick to jewelry making, and am a beginner lamp work glass bead maker. A couple years ago we turned our old laundry room into my full time studio, where I can keep my lamp work torch set up permanently and have plenty of counter space to work on many things at once. I call it creative, others might call it "messy."
What music/podcasts/TV shows do you love to craft along to?
It has to be something soothing that doesn't take my full attention. Definitely a favorite movie that I've already watch a 100 times works (like Pitch Perfect) or any HGTV or Bravo TV shows.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I take lots of pictures, I love to write (blog posts and am starting a work of fiction) and I read tons! I also love to cook, which is a good thing, because my family loves to eat!
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Thank you for this incredible opportunity!
