Tell us a bit about your home and what you love about it the most?
Well, what I love most about my home is that it's mine. Every corner in this house has my touch on it, i've been able to decorate and redecorate as many time as i've wanted! I've lived on my own for about 3 years and it's been the best! I've turned my little condo into a home with two fur babies to come home to daily!
What was the first DIY project you did to your home or first thing you made for it?
It was a DIY Pallet Shelf that I put together with my parents and boyfriend. I went into it completely blind, not knowing measurements or exactly how I wanted it, but it came out amazing! I finished it with white paint and sanded it down for a distressed look. It sits in my workout room and fits perfectly!
Do you have any tips for staying tidy & organised?
The thing that helps me most is tidying as I go. If I begin to slack on that, I write it down. I make a list that i can refer back to as I go. This is how I keep myself accountable, lol!
If you could tour any celebrities home, who would it be?
This is probably cliche and weird since we can see it on TV often, but I would probably choose Joanna Gaines house. She seriously stages those home beautifully and can only imagine what it would be like to see her home in person. I would leave with so many ideas!
If you had three wishes, what changes would you make to your home?
First, I would make the living room bigger - it's so compact and awkwardly shaped, plus more space to decorate! Second, I would add more light - since it's a condo it only has windows in the front of the house and back of the house and neither one of those areas are the kitchen. I need natural light in my kitchen! Last, I would change the counter space. I would love a big open counter area for food prep.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I kind of do whatever tickles my fancy at the time. Sometimes it's painting other times its glueing everything together with my glue gun, hehehe.
