How would you describe your style and who are your style icons?
My style is formed from a combination of edgy and streetwear inspiration. Living in NYC, it's very easy to be inspired by who you pass on the sidewalk or stand next to on the train. I like a lot of black to balance the colors in my hair, and sneakers as much heels or short boots. My biggest style icon is Yoon Ambush, from the Korean accessories brand, AMBUSH. She was also featured in the A$AP Rocky Music Video for L$D; she's the coolest person I've ever seen.
What's in your everyday make-up bag?
My everyday makeup bag has a lot in it, haha! I have my Maybelline Fit Me and L'Oreal Luminous foundations, which I mix together. Then, my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, ELF Blush & Bronzing Duo, ELF Baked Highlighter, Tarte Rainforest After Dark palette, my eyelash curler, Maybelline Pumped Up! mascara, and NYX Lip Primer. Usually I carry MAC Faux with me as well.
What is your beauty routine like?
My beauty routine is fairly simple. I use Proactive for acne, so I follow their 3-step twice a day. When I have time, I do a chocolate and strawberry face mask. Every week, I re-do my nails and sharpen up my eyebrows. I can usually go about three weeks to a month in between coloring my hair, and that's really it!
If you could makeover a celebrity, who would it be and what look would you give them?
If I could makeover a celebrity I would choose Rhianna. She's so beautiful already, I feel like there are a lot of different looks she can pull off. I would give her a smokey plum eye and a wine colored lip color.
Any tips for someone wanting to mix up their look?
Step out of your comfort zone! You can wear nearly anything as long as the execution is clean. Practice makes perfect, so try things out in your free time before wearing them out!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I like to find alternative uses for items normally thrown away (like my EOS and Hubert's Lemonade bottle tutorials). As far as hobbies go, I love watching scary movies so much I would consider that one! I also really enjoy going out to new areas of the city and exploring. My blog is a major hobby, and also typography and drawing.
