When did you first get in to cooking and do you remember the first recipe you tried?
I have been cooking from a really young age, I can't remember when exactly. I learned everything I know from my mom, she is always in the kitchen making delicious things for us, mainly desserts.
What's your kitchen like and how do you keep organized when cooking?
My kitchen is very clean. I have barely anything on the counters because it is quite small. I keep organized by keeping all of my ingredients on the left side of the counter and my cutting board and utensils on the right.
What tips would you give to someone wanting to become a better cook?
Have patience and know that with time and practice you will get better. The more you cook and bake, the better and more advanced you will become. And if something goes wrong with something you're preparing or making, remember it happens to everyone, even me!
Who would you invite to your dream dinner party and what would you cook for them?
Honestly, I would invite Martha Stewart (I love all of her recipes). I would cook her a huge beef roast with olive oil roasted potatoes and asparagus with hollaindaise sauce. And a tiramisu cake for dessert. I've always wanted to make a big roast for someone but I've never had the chance!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I love photography but more specifically food photography. I have enjoyed photography since I took my first class in high school but have only become more focused on it in the last year or so. I also love painting and drawing, and doing DIY crafts. I love any chance I have to do something creative.
Which cooking blogs do you love to read?
I really enjoying reading the cooking blog How Sweet It Is and also Pinch Of Yum.
