How would you describe your style and who are your style icons?
I don't know what my style is. I wear whatever I feel like. I'm a walking contradiction pretty much. I love pastels and anything cute and girly, but at the same time I'm usually all in black and my house is covered in creepy, odd things. I'm half Lydia Deetz and half Marie Antoinette.
What's in your everyday make-up bag?
One million lipsticks! I am obsessed with lipstick. Right now I think I have an actual total of 10 lipsticks. In addition, I usually have my Chanel Double Perfection Lumiere pressed powder, chapstick, eyelash glue, and perfume samples.
What is your beauty routine like?
The only constant in my beauty routine is my foundation, at least lately. I start with Estee Lauder Daywear BB cream to moisturize. Next I use Nars Skin Smoothing Face Prep to make my pores look smaller and smooth my skin. Then I apply foundation, Giorgio Armani Lasting Silk foundation. I highlight under my eyes, chin, nose, and forehead with MAC Studio Finish Concealer. Lastly, I apply my Chanel Double Perfection Lumiere powder with a giant kabuki brush. My eye makeup, brows, lips, and cheeks change daily.
If you could makeover a celebrity, who would it be and what look would you give them?
I don't know about "making over", but I'd LOVE to do
Any tips for someone wanting to mix up their look?
COLOR. You can make bright colors look natural easily when paired with the right neutrals. Color IS for everyone, you just need to find your perfect look. Try a bright blush, or a neon eye pencil in your waterline.
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
I'm a craft queen. I refuse to buy anything I know I can make myself. I sew, paint, play with clay a little. Makeup is my hobby. I'm so lucky to get paid for doing the one thing I love doing most.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I can't tell you how many times a day someone tells me "I wish I could wear that!" Whether it be about my lipstick, hair color, eye makeup etc.. that is the one thing I always hear and I always have the same reply, "Why don't you?" You are the most important person in your life, and life is too short to wish you did something. Trying something new doesn't hurt. You never know what you can pull off until you try it!
