When did you first start getting crafty and creative with fashion?
I've been making small tweeks to personalize my clothing and accessories for as long as I can remember, and I started making my own jewelry about 10 years ago. Given the choice, I always DIY — it's just so much more satisfying!
Who are your favorite fashionistas and designers?
Too many to name here! But generally, I love looking to other blogs for style inspiration, like Atlantic Pacific (beyond amazing), Could I Have That, Cheetah Is The New Black and countless others. In terms of designers, I die over everything Phillip Lim makes, and I also have a weekness for Alexander Wang, Tibi and Proenza Schouler.
What are your ultimate style tips?
I think the most important tip when it comes to style is to be true to yourself and your body type. Only wear what makes you feel great, because no matter how on-trend an item may be, if you don't feel comfortable in it, it shows.
If you could borrow one thing from a celebrities wardrobe, what & who would you choose?
I'm a die-hard Chanel fan (sigh), so I would definitely borrow a bag from Alexa Chung's epic collection!
Which fashion blogs do you love to read?
So many! In addition to the ones listed above, I'm obsessed with Damsel in Dior, Brooklyn Blonde, The Pretty Secrets, Cupcakes and Cashmere, Ordinary People, Gal Meets Glam — I could go on!
Do you do any other crafts and what are your hobbies?
Holding a full-time job on top of blogging full-time doesn't leave much time for hobbies, but if I did have more time, they would be antiquing, baking and reading. As it stands, the only hobby I seem to have time for these days is clothing hoarding.
