You Will Need (14 things)
- 1 lbs low fat Italian Sausage
- 1 tsp one and 1/2 Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 large onion diced White Onions
- 3 cloves minced Garlic
- 4 Slices, uncooked & chopped Bacon try chicken bacon for less fat
- 8 cup organic Chicken Broth
- 2 cup Water
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 3 large organic Russet Potatoes peeled and chopped
- 3 cup organic kale washed and chopped Kale
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- optional serve in Bread bowl
- optional sprinkle grated cheese on top Parmigiano Reggiano
Steps (5 steps, 90 minutes)

Start with 1 pound of Italian sausage either mild or spicy according to your taste buds. Cut casing and remove sausage. Brown, drain the fat, and start adding all the goodies.

First add onion and brown. Then add potatoes, broth, and water. Lower heat and cook about 30 minutes until potatoes are soft.

Reduce heat to lowest setting. Add kale and cooked bacon. Slowly stir in heavy cream.

Serve hot with crusty bread and a green salad.

Optional sprinkle with Parmigiano Reggiano. Optional serve in bread bowl.
