I had a lot of fun making these. I was using my serger and could not find much help online for putting my elastic in my pants using my serger. I just tried my best on that part which turned out ok. The only time I used my sewing machine was to do my last stitch around the waistband to finish putting the elastic in after putting it in with the serger. I used my Serger for all seems because it gave it a strong stitch and a professional stitch, if you do not have a serger you can either do a double stitch or you can do the zig zag stitch which will make it strong as well. The best way to know your measurements is to take a pair of pants that fit you well and what I did was added a half inch around the whole outline of the pants and then just cut out that shape. you will need two pieces for a front and two pieces for a back. If you have any questions just ask!
