Delicious, healthy snack!
So healthy eating comes naturally to me, but for those of you who need a little teeny push in the right direction, these are amazing! No joke!! It's similar to a lot of those 'veggie chips' but these are so much better for you (not only are they home made) and as mommy always told me, eat your veggies.

A friend of my moms showed me how to make these so eat up!!

  • Step 1

Wash the Kale, and peel off desired amount. Pull off stem like romaine lettuce and discard or compost the spines.

  • Step 2

Put the kale in a bowl add a little bit of olive oil, eye ball it, but honestly you can always add more, and a little really does go a long way.

  • Step 3

Spread the lightly oiled Kale out onto a baking sheet in one layer. Salt and season with whatever kinda salt mix seasoning you want. I recommend 'Janes Krazy salt', and Tomato Basil mix, though not at once. And remember a little goes a long way. :)

  • Step 4

Put in an oven at 250 degrees F. (no need to preheat)

Watch the Kale chips for about 20-30 minutes. You want them crispy, not soggy or still soft. You can pull the sheet out check em with your finger, Careful, they will be uber hot, and then just let em go until you feel they are crispy enough (or the smoke alarm goes off!). :)

    And viola! Delicious Kale chips!
