Omigosh this is fabulous. Happy

I have so many shirts from shows I've done that suck to wear as shirts, but would rock as dance pants! This rocks my face. And BTW: people need to chill. Your tutorial is bangin and so are theirs and stuff. You're awesome. Happy
Peace. Happy

This tut is the same as how I posted my version of Tara's in August 2008. (Except the waist was drawstring.) I never got around to posting the tut here (tho I did elsewhere.) I don't see what everyone is getting worked up about. Yea it is nice to say "inspired by..." (I did.) But sometimes the inspiration comes from too many sources. It's not like you are claiming to be the original creator. Don't let people get you down!

You should see my wiener one. It is too funny! LOL

THAN YOU LENA. and Zassy, cut up the side seams and turn the shirt so the the inside is facing outside, and sew up the sides you just cut until you get to where the sleeve used to be.

Honestly, this idea has been around for a while. There are many "originals", but as rainy didn't follow any specific tutorial, that justifies this as her *own*. Not a recreation of anyone else's. If I make a cake, should I give someone credit for the idea of making a cake? No. It's mine because I made it how I wanted. Rainy, great tutorial. Don't take anyone's crap. ;]

To clarify a certain point, Tara m. did not come up with this idea...it clearly says on her tutorial that a friend taught it to her. And there are many older tutorials on t-shirt pants than her's. Such as this one from 2005 on livejournal.

Rainy B: Not that this is any of my business but tara m. came up with the idea. You just changed it to a way you liked it. So yes. You kinda came up with it. tara was just saying that you should say something like. "Inspired by "name here." Something like that. Again. None of my business. I'm just saying.

Once again, I do not know where I have seen the 'original'... cut out and keep is a recent find, and I know I can rule cut out and keep, however, craftster is a possibility and a few other craft sites I have been visiting a lot longer. I'm sorry if I've offended you, but my point is that by looking at a lot of tutorials and pictures, I pretty much winged it with my own thoughts on how to do it myself, thus, this tutorial has come to take place in the world.

Didn't say you took mine hun. But if there are so many somewhere you got the idea from someone. Common curtosy to let people know where you got yours from. I learned how from a friend and thats why on MINE is says that. Once again its just a common courtesy.

To tell you the truth, there's so many craft sites that I go to and the 'original' tutorial is everywhere, by a lot of different people, that I don't know which one I got it from. I assume you all know that I didn't quite have the idea to make pants out of tshirts [mainly because I have few shirts]
BUT this IS my tutorial, I didn't take it directtly from anyone, these ARE my words and MY pictures.

You know most of us on these crafts sight when we use someone else tutorial give credit to that person when we use/tweek their idea or tutorial. Just thought I would let you know its a common coutisy. Just saw your tut on Crafster congratulations. (=
