First you have to get clay, and make a cilinder with a hole in the middle.* Now, I've never try to do this with some other type of clay but maybe you can try to do it and then you don't have to cook it ;D *My English sucks so, I'm sorry if I write something that doesn't make sence.
Then you have to draw something in the surface.
Then you have to look for some place where you can cook the piece. In my school they cooked it and I don't know for how long and how much; sorry I know it's not a good step-by-step description.
Next, you need some ink or fabric paint. Then you cover the clay piece. Now, you can use it and roll it in paper or on a common t-shirt.
