All you need is a little wire a few beads to make this knot pendant.
All you need is a little wire a few beads to make this knot pendant.
Tools! I have 2 types of wire, my main thicker copper colored wire for the knot, and a thinner gold colored wire for securing the intersections. The thinner wire was just easier to fit in the small space. You can make it work with the thicker wire if you need, it just takes a careful hand and a bit more patience. I also have a big marker, its just for wrapping the wire around so the curves come out the same size.
1.I cut my main wire about 12 inches long, and wrap it in half around the marker. 2.Bend one tail over almost 90' and wrap it around the marker. 3.Bend the second tail over the marker too. 4.Bring both tails up and cross them. - You may need to work with your knot a little bit to get a symmetrical shape, just gently bend and shape it. I've put a picture of a knot in the main pictures at the top, your can use it as a template to form your knot. (not pictured) Wrap one tail around the other at the point that they cross. Cut off the extra length.
5. Using the second wire (mine is thinner) wrap the intersections of the curves on the outside edges. 6. Make a dangle with a bead and a small piece of wire, and attach it around the center intersection of the knot. &. Trim your last tail to about 2 in and using your Round Nose Pliers roll it from the tip down towards the knot, using the largest end of your pliers.
Now your pendant is finished. You can make a second one to turn into a pair of earrings or string it on a cord to wear it as a pendant. Enjoy <3
