Have candy canes and don't know what to do with them? This easy, delicious treat is a household and party favorite for before, during, and definitely after the holidays. Ingredients: 2 cups chocolate chips 2 2/3 cups white chocolate chips 1/2 - 1 cup crushed cane pieces
Preheat oven to 250 and line a 9x13 baking pan with foil.
Lightly grease or spray the foil. sprinkle the Chocolate Chips over the foil in and even layer.Place in the oven for 5 minutes or until the chocolate is spreadable. smooth chocolate into an even layer and chill for twenty minutes.
Unwrap Candy canes and place in between two plates. Crush into small pebble sized chunks and set aside. Don't use a food processor.
Fill large pot 1/4 with water and place medium pot inside. Make sure medium pot floats. Add white chocolate to the empty medium pot and turn the burner on medium heat. Let white chocolate melt.
Remove chocolate from fridge and let sit ten minutes. Allow white chocolate to cool slightly before pouring onto chocolate. Spread evenly.
Get candy canes and sprinkle over white chocolate. Use as much or as little as you want.Set in fridge until firm.
Lift foil from pan and cut or break into peices. Enjoy :)
