The 'heart' is such a popular motif and can be used on earrings and necklaces, but also makes such a lovely 'thank you' gift for a special friend as a key ring or hand bag clip. Feel free to decorate it in any way with beads, I've made mine in a dream catcher style!

Depending on the size of the heart, cut approximately 6” of 18-gauge wire. Fold the length in half and using your flat or chain nosed pliers, squeeze the wires together at the end.
Using a pen (or similar circular mandrel), create the sides of the heart by wrapping each of the projecting wires around in opposite directions.
Bring the ends together and secure by wrapping one around the other. Cut off any excess wire and leave a projecting stem at the very end.
Using your round nosed pliers, curl the projecting stem into a link.
Cut approximately 24” of 26-gauge wire and wire wrap the centre of the heart frame, adding a bead as you go.
Create 3 twisted bead stems using 26-gauge wire.
Connect the 3 twisted bead stems together and attach to the last link of the heart frame. Connect the clip finding to the top end of the heart.
