Its that time of the year again and my knitting needles just keep screaming at me to knit something new… So here it is! My newest warm an chunky epic scarf:)
This is just a simple rib-stitch (purl 1-knit 1-purl 1-knit 1) pattern. With two balls of wool, cast on 22 stitches using the cable cast on technique for a neat edge.
Row 1: insert your needle into the first stitch as if to purl, wrap the yarn twice around your needle and finish the stitch. Move the yarn to the back of your work for the next knit stitch. Insert your needle in a knit wise fashion, wrap your yarn around the needle twice and finish knitting the stitch. Repeat these two stitches till the end of the row.
Row 2- …..: Slip the first stitch purl-wise, then knit the next stitch as you did in row 1. After this slip of the remaining loops until your reach your next stitch (2 loops). Do the same for the purl stitches. Repeat row 2 until your scarf is your desired length. Enjoy!!
