I love to face paint.... I was going to a VooDoo party at a night club. What a perfect time to create what I thought a human VooDoo doll would look like. If you have any questions let me know. The products I used are as follows: Wolfe Brothers Paint Ben Nye Paint Mehron silver powder/paint Ben Nye Final Seal Matte Makeup Sealer

Start Off with a clean face.
Putting white face paint on, a pain in the butt... However work with it, use a good sponge to do so. do not use to much water. it will get soupy or streaky.. and it is hard to blend.
Paint all areas of your face white except your eye area. This will be painted black in the next step.
Get a larger brush, not huge. This is a brush I bought that is actually used for acrylic nails. It works great around the eye area because it is soft, and will not pull the area around your eyes.
Make two black circles, I chose to do mine two different sizes, well, just because I wanted to. Allow it to dry as I didn't and it will separate or crease.
Get a fine liner brush. This is not my liner brush, I cannot find it as we just moved and the only thing I can find are my clothes. :0(
Liner brush and black paint, draw lines where ever you like. It is a personal choice. When you are being stitched up, you don't want to break down the integrity of your face....
Ok, this is the hard thing. You can either blend out the black or use a light grey face paint to kind of create shadows or almost a bruising. This is imperative for the stitches to show up in the next step.
Using the liner brush, put white stitch marks over the black lines. put them at almost a ( angle.
Once you have the stitches where and how you want them, put black lines in the shape of ) around the ends of the white stitch marks.
Now blend out the black )'s you put around the white. This will give the impression of your skin being pulled taunt.
I forgot to do my mouth so go back and do it.
Now, add black dots where the stitches are. Add wholes and thread for the button wholes. Spray with sealing spray or powder with setting powder. The heart on my chest was done the same way. Only I used Mehron silver powder/paint to create needles into the heart. Set this also. Next, the hair.... Tease the crap out of your hair and spray it. Once it has dried, Spray with the white spray. Be forewarned, It will take several washings to get the spray out!!!
