You Will Need (4 things)

  • Glass Ice Cube Tray
  • Popsicle Tray
  • Soda
  • Gummy Bears

Steps (10 steps, 120 minutes)

  1. 1

Place gummy bears in a glass dish. I used a pie dish.

  2. 2

Pour in Vodka. I used Burnett's Vanilla and it didn't gel around the gummies like I've been hearing a lot about with this technique.

  3. 3

You can cover the bears completely, but I didn't. I covered them just to their tops and left them in the fridge for three days. The first bear is right out of the packaging. The second is soaked at two days. Three days was sufficient enough that they had returned to normal gummy bear consistency. No hard center. They never got mushy. And the vodka never gelled.

  4. 4

Skewer them with tooth picks right through their gummy tummies and serve at a party for your adult guests!

  5. 5

The left over vodka in the dish was delicious! I poured it into a shot glass, and then remembered that I have a silicone shot glass ice mold.

  6. 6

I filled the mold almost full with water, and then topped off the bottoms of each one with a gummy bear. Once these were frozen I had a gummy bear embelished shot glass full of gummy bear flavored vodka =)

  7. 7

For the rest of the bears, I filled a popsicle mold with soda.

  8. 8

Then I dunked in enough gummy bears to fill each one.

  9. 9

    Cap and freeze!

  10. 10

These are delicious! Some of the bears retained some of the CO2 bubbles and were fizzy =D
