To give a really professional finish this necklace uses crimping pliers. In two simple moves you can tightly press the crimp shut and press again to fold it into a neat circle. Your crimps will then fit perfectly inside the crimp covers.

Cut 12 varying lengths of Beadalon wire between about 50 and 60cm. To make your fastening hook cut 25cm of 0.8mm silver plated wire. At about 2cm from the end of the 12 strands of Beadalon wire, neatly and tightly wrap your silver plated wire around and up the strands to the top. With the round nosed part of your pliers, bend your silver plated wire in two about 3cm along from the wrapped Beadalon end. Wrap the remaining wire back down over the already wrapped Beadalon. Using the cutting part of your pliers trim off any excess.
About half way down, curve the silver plated wire around the wider part of the round nosed pliers to make the main part of the hook. Bend a small lip at the end of your hook.
Thread a crimp onto one of the Beadalon strands. Close the crimp with your crimping pliers. Finish off with a crimp cover. Add a random group of beads and secure with another crimp and crimp cover. Continue adding groups of beads in the same way, along the Beadalon strand, a few centimetres apart. Repeat this procedure on all other lengths.
Group the 12 ends of Beadalon together. Using another 25cm of beading wire wrap around all the ends as you did at the other end. With your round nosed pliers close to the last loop, bend your wire at a right angle. To make a joining loop, using the wide part of your round nosed pliers, loop the wire round twice. Trim off any excess wire.
