Gently sand the seams of the Stryofoam figures smooth using fine sand paper.
Insert a skewer into the base of the Stryofoam figures to make it easier to paint all around. Paint them in copper-coloured paint and leave to dry thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.
Place the glasses upside down and paint the outside (including the base) mint green. You will be using these upside down, as stands. Leave to dry thoroughly. Paint over as many times as necessary.
Paint the tray gold.
Spray the painted glasses with a gloss varnish for added protection.
Apply adhesive pearls around the edge of the feet of the glasses.
Decorate the glasses with lace ribbon and finish with a few extra pearls.
Using pliers, cut off the loop on the cross pendants. Stick the crosses onto the centre of the egg. Hang a bronze key from one of the glasses using baker’s twine.
Punch 2 butterflies out of paper. Stick one onto the candle and one onto a glass. Decorate the middle of each butterfly with a sequin.
Stick the remaining Stryofoam figures onto the glass stands with glue.
