About
i decided i wanted a christmeas wreath so i raided my vintage haberdashery stash - these items are all fairly easy to come by and have been found in my local charity shops and eBay - the tinsel was the only thing i bought new and specifically for this project.

- 8 x large Shank Button
- extra long Knitting Needles
- 4 x Stitch Counters
- 2 pairs of Scissors

- Yarn
- Needle & Thread

- plastic Crochet Hook
- Yarn
- ball of Wool yarn

Steps (6 steps, 120 minutes)

1
i used large coat buttons with a brass shank back - i put the shank between the two hoops and tightened them to secure.
Next i wrapped the tinsel around the hoop and buttons.
Then i threaded the knitting needles through the loops of tinsel, this picture shows them without the yarn ball - i decided i wanted this later and wound a ball of wool and skewered it with the needles! -

i wired two pairs of vintage scissors to the wreath - obviously you will need to keep the wreath out of reach of children because of the scissors but you could use cotton reels or plastic crochet hooks or something else instead!

i made two tape measure rosettes from the tutorial found on cut out and keep, i cut one measure in half to get the two rosettes.
i tied these to the hoop. -
4
i threaded four stitch counters onto a crochet hook and set the numbers to 25 / 12 / 20 / 09 and wired this tto the top of the hoop by the screw.
i added a yarn hanging loop. -

i made this ball of wool to go on the needles
