If you don't already have an old magazine/catalogue, it is easy to find them at second hand stores for a good price.
If you don't already have an old magazine/catalogue, it is easy to find them at second hand stores for a good price.
The first step is to take a piece of paper, preferably a thicker paper, and fold it in half. That will be your card base. For my card, I had papers already folded with a design on the front. Use whatever you have available to you.
The second step is to look through an old pattern book or magazine, and find a person that you like. Cut them out and then figure out where you want them on your card. Also, find a sentence or a word during your search, something that relates to the purpose of the card or the person you chose.
The last step is the most exciting, decorate! Get rick rack, glitter, buttons, cut shapes out of different paper and glue on little bows. Your card is complete!
