About

This is what I made for myself for home use only. I upcycled some materials: thick cardboard was the basis of a gift that I got, patterened paper that I used was some old map of the world and drawer handle are from old closet, which was so trashed that there was no hope for it any more so we use it for heating. I hope you like it.

You Will Need (8 things)

  • Paint Brush
  • Paper
  • Drill and screws
  • Piece Of Thick Cardboard or wood
  • Mod Podge Acrylic Sealer Or Any Other Type Of White Glue'
  • any kind of Patterened Paper
  • Stamps with any kind of patteren
  • drawer Handle(s)

Steps (7 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

First thing to do is gather all your materials.
I got my thick cardboard as I allready mentioned as a gift basis.
If it's size is to big for you then just take the saw in your hand and make it the size you desire.

  2. 2

    CARDBOARD:
Paint the cardboard with mod podge or any other glue (for paper, wood..) then place the patterened paper on. With your hand push the paper down on the cardboard, slide with your hand over it pushing the air out.
    Let it dry!
Than take your stamp dipp it in acrylic paint stamp over the paper.
    Let it dry!

  3. 3

    DRAWER HANDLE:
First I painted it with black acrylic paint, waited for it to dry. Cover it with Mod Podge Cracked Appearance, and painted it with violet acrylic paint. Then again waited for it to dry.

  4. 4

In the meantime drill holes for the screws.

  5. 5

Now all it is need to be done is to screw the handles on the cardboard. That's it!:)

This one is Necklace Holder, I didn't use a cardboard but wooden cutting board that I found in the attic and brass hanger that was laying around in the house.
