I just love working with old denim, I love the different shades of indigo and the different styles. One of my upcycled jeans projects that really shows off the varieties of denim styling is this pocket organiser I made. To complement the rustic upcycled look of this organiser I used a wooden branch to hang it with.

Cut the pockets of your jeans so that you have 16 pockets in total (front and back). Lay your pockets out in 4 rows of 4 and pin right sides together.
Sew each row of pockets and then sew all the rows together.
Use the waist bands of the jeans to even up the edges and sew to your pockets.
Cut six tags from your jeans waistbands and sew these to the top of your pocket organiser.
Your pocket organiser is now ready to hang. Just thread a branch through the loops at the top and hang on brackets on the wall.
