I was in the process of making my friend an up-cycled magazine waste basket for her birthday when I came up with this idea. Its really cute and easy and I didnt have to buy anything :) For the love of all things Disney, ~EatAMyOshi 2011

Grab some old magazines, advertisements, flyer, and junk mail. We are going to put these to good use :)
Rip out a page with some funky colors. Fold it in half (the hot dog way) and either rip or cut it in half.
Take one of the halves and fold in in half (the hot dog way)
Open it up and fold the ends to the center crease.
Fold the ends to the center crease again.
Put glue on one side...
Fold it in half.
Roll up the Strip.
When you reach the end you can either tape it or hot glue it. If you use regular glue you have to put pressure on the roll until the glue dries or it will come undone.
Make two more rolls. One the same size and one much bigger. To make the bigger roll, make one roll and then tape or glue another strip to it, roll it up, and tape/glue it. You can do this for the ears to if you want to make your pendant bigger.
Using a hot glue gun, glue together the rolls in the shape of minnie mouse.
Grab your wire and measure it so when the pendant is attached it can hang from your neck and go over your head. Hot glue it as shown.
To make the bow, cut out a small rectangle from your magazine/ad that is slightly bigger than the space between the ears. <-----
Fold the rectangle like a fan, open it up, and pinch the center. Take your ribbon and tie it around the center. Cut off the excess ribbon and hot glue the bow between the two ears of your minnie mouse.
Voila, Tu as fini! (There, you have finished!)
