personalized colourful, lined scarf!
This is great because you can use any weight wool you want and any stitches (provided there are no gaping holes in the scarf, neat little ones might be okay). The fabric weight needs to match the wool, heavy wool use a heavier fabric. Oh, the other unseen wonder of this scarf is it doesnt roll up like all my other knitted ones do!

  • How to make a knit scarf / crochet scarf. Unique No One Else Will Have One Scarf - Step 1
    Step 1

Knit a scarf. Long as you want, wide as you want, whatever knit style you want (but no gaping holes). Tassels might not work so well so blunt ends are probably best.

  • Step 2

Cut fabric thats about an inch larger than the scarf's edges.

    Step 3

This is a little tricky: Start to pin the fabric (pattern facing you) to the back of the scarf. Turn in the inch that you left so the fabric and scarf are the same size.

    Step 4

Stitch using backstitch (i used this) or another stitch that wont gather. This needs to be neat as it could be visible depending on the fabric/cotton colour.
