Instructions

  1. Small p1060849

Colour some sugarpaste navy. Roll out and cut to match the size of your cupcakes.

  2. Small union jack cupcake topper

Create the red and white strips for the flag by laying a strip of red sugarpaste on top of a slightly wider strip of white sugarpaste. Roll out gently to make a bi-colour strip.

  3. Small p1060850

Cut some red and white strips with an arrow end so they match in the centre nicely.

  4. Small p1060851

Wet (just use water) in the shape of a cross using a small brush.

  5. Small p1060852

    Assemble the flag.

  6. Small p1060853

Use the circle cutter again to trim excess.

  7. Small p1060857

Roll out some red sugarpaste and cut out a small heart. Immediately dip in red glitter (freshly rolled sugarpaste is wet enough to make the glitter stick). Use a dab of water to glue the heart to the flag. You may use the brush to apply more glitter to the red stripes of the flag.
