You Will Need (8 things)

  • Glue
  • Scissors
  • Tweezers
  • Cardboard -thin and dense
  • Paint -two colours
  • Sealer
  • Paint Brush
  • Stud Earrings Backs

Steps (5 steps, 20 minutes)

  1. 1

    Materials.

  2. 2

Cut out four tiny diamond shapes from your cardboard. Paint two to three coats on both sides: two one colour, two the other colour. Hold the diamonds with tweezers while you paint them to save your fingers from getting messy. You may want to paint a white base coat if your cardboard is dark and your paint light.
    Let the paint dry.

  3. 3

Assemble the diamonds into chevron shapes, with the good side down. Put a glob of glue onto the stud earring pad and glue in place. Let dry over night.

  4. 4

Touch up any unpainted spots. Paint two coats of sealer on the front and carefully on the back around the earring pad. Let dry.

  5. 5

Ready to wear! The sealer will protect the cardboard against moisture but they are not water proof.
