For student teaching, I needed to keep my hair pulled back or cut it short. Since I wanted to keep my hair long, everyday I used either a pony tail or a braid. When I get sick of that, I decided to combine them into the two-braid ponytail. First, pull your hair back in a ponytail. Then, make the tail into two braids. You can also do three, but the braids are thinner that way, and I liked the thicker look of two. I ended each braid about three inches from the bottom to give them more attitude. It took me about two minutes for the entire hairstyle. I apologize for the blue color of the photo. I photoshopped it for my friend's steampunk blog and deleted my orginal copy.
