This particular hairstyle I accidentally invented this summer when I was trying to style my frizzy hair on a particularly humid day. It is super simple way to wear your hair that nevertheless looks cute and appropriate for any occasion.

Start with clean hair. Part the hair on once side and brush it.
Apply your favorite leave-in conditioner. I used Macadamia Weightless Moisture Leave-In Conditioning Mist (it smells so delicious!).
Secure your hair in a low side ponytail. Use a hair elastic that matches a color of your hair (I picked a black one).
Divide your ponytail into two parts.
Twist each part and bring them together. Secure with a hair elastic.
Divide the rest of the hair in two parts, twist each part, and secure both parts with a hair elastic.
Repeat step #6 two more times.
Gently tug sections of the twisted ponytail apart to loosen things up a bit.
You are all set!
