I created this bag as a birthday present for a friend. The embroideried turtle is from the german card game "Arubas Schatz". My friend always plays the turtle character, That is why I created it as a Fan-Bag. First I produced 2 large granny squares, of which I sew the bag. These were filled with a green cotton fabric, which I got from an old shirt. Then I crocheted the holder and sew them in. After that I produced the embroidery. Therefore I looked for a picture of the turtle in the internet, reduced it with a drawing programm and let it been shown in a grid. So it became easy to reproduce. After I finished the embroidery I decorated it with a border. The same I did with the bag. After that I started to crochet the small turtle. It is completely made of the rest of the wool and filled with cotton. Therefore I crocheted pieces, which I sew together in the end and decorated it wiht button eyes. The turtle hangs on a chain of coconut pearls.
