Memory wire is made of steel that will damage your good cutters so make sure you always use memory wire shears to cut it.
Cut a coil from the memory wire using memory wire shears.
Place one end into the jaws of the pliers so that it is flush with the jaws.
Place the thumb of your other hand on the wire next to the jaws and press it firmly against the jaws as you rotate the pliers inwards, in the direction of the curve of the wire.
Re-position the pliers in the partially formed loop and rotate the pliers again whilst you are still pushing the wire against the jaws with your thumb.
Use your thumb to press the wire right up to the cut end of the loop to fully close it.
The finished loop should look like this.
