About
Learn to make this super simple necklace in minutes! Tulle has this young, fun quality to it (think floucy tulle skirts!) and would hardly be associated to accessories but we think they do a good job at being super cute tassels! Tutorial begins below.

You Will Need (7 things)
- Tulle
- Acrylic Beads
- Embroidery Thread
- Scissors
- 80 cm Ball Chain
- 1 Ball Chain stopper
- Needle And Thread
Steps (10 steps, 45 minutes)
-
1
Cut the tulle into 8cm x 8cm squares. Stack about 4-5 pieces on top of each other in random orientations to create more volume.
-
2
Find the centre of the stack of tulle and pinch to gather.
-
3
Using needle and thread and leaving a small ball at the top, secure the tulle pieces together. It might be useful at this point to wrap the thread around the ball a few times.
-
4
This step is purely optional, but we used some embroidery thread to cover the sewing and add some colour.
-
5
Pierce an open jumpring through the top layers of the tulle tassel and you’re done with one! Now repeat steps 1-5 to create another (or more!) tulle tassels.
-
6
Moving on to thread tassels! Wrap the embroidery thread around your fingers, the length of the loop should be about 5cm.
-
7
Snip off the final 10cm and use it to tie the bunch of threads together near one end of the loops.
-
8
Using a scissors, cut and separate the loop end on the opposite side of the knot, and even out the lengths with a few trims.
-
9
It’s time to get creative! Play around with different combinations of beads and tassels. The beads and tassels slide along the ball chain very easily and its easy to change things around. Secure the end of the ball chain stopper when done.
