Use a 1 lb Pudding bowl to cook this. Moist & sweet. Great served with ice cream or custard.

You will need

6 tbsp Golden Syrup 2 tbsp Lemon Juice 175 g Butter 175 g Sugar 3 eggs 175 g Self-Raising Flour 1 tbsp Treacle

Description

Use a 1 lb Pudding bowl to cook this. Moist & sweet. Great served with ice cream or custard.

Instructions

1. 

   Mix together 3 tbsp golden syrup & lemon juice. Pour into the bottom of dishes.

2. 

   Cream together butter & sugar until light & creamy.

3. 

   Add eggs. Mix through

4. 

   Add flour & treacle. Gently fold in.

5. 

   Cover the dishes with baking paper & foil. Place in a pan with water & steam for 2 hrs.

6. 

   Turn onto a plate & pour over the remaining 3 tbsp golden syrup.

7. 

   Serve.
