Train Ticket Cushion

Remember all of your awesome train journeys with a comfy cushion.

Tom saves all his train tickets from fun journeys we've been on so I decided to turn them in to a cushion.

You Will Need (5 things)

  • 2 x A4 Transfer Paper
  • Scanner
  • Iron & ironing board
  • Half meter of white or beige Cloth
  • Pillow Stuffing

Steps (12 steps, 60 minutes)

    Pick out all the tickets you would like to use.

    Arrange them neatly on a piece of paper.

  3. 3

    Scan them in to your computer and then mirror the image.

  4. 4

    Print out on to transfer paper.

  5. 5

    Get your cloth ready.

  6. 6

    Place the transfer face down on the cloth and iron on.

  7. 7

    Carefully peel the backing paper off the transfer, making sure that all of the image has transferred.

    You're cloth should look something like this. Cut around the transfer.

    Repeat the same process for the back of the tickets to make the back of your cushion.

    Lay the two sides on top of each other, right sides facing and sew around the edges, leaving a small gap at one side.

    Fold right side out and stuff with pillow stuffing.
