I had a great canvas bag with Totoro on it and I completely wore it out. Even after numerous repairs it just couldn't keep on going. However I couldn't quite let it go and I kept the zip charms of brass coloured metal Totoros with the intention of turning them into something else. After buying specific beads and charms to make the woodland charm bracelet I made for my mother for Christmas, I still had a lot left over and remembered that I had the totoros and decided that I just had to make a My Neighbour Totoro themed charm bracelet. So a wonderous mix of oak trees, leaves, pine cones, fir cones and acorns accompanying the wonderful Totoro with whom I am very much in love with.
