this kitten looks waaaay harder than it actually was to make. i took the body from a pattern for a plush onigiri! just two circles, but with a rectangular strip sewn in-between to make him 3D. then i attached the face in two tones of grey, did four cylindrical feet with padded paws and two triangular ears, then, last of all, a tail. the details were the fun part. i gave the kitty manga-eyes and a little flick of fringe, a pink nose and embroidery-thread whiskers. then i picked some of my favorite metallic seed beads in different colours, and attached them all over with a fine beading needle and a long, long piece of thread. he looks great as a kawaii bag charm, an oversized pendant or just sitting on my desk he makes me smile:)
