To make my first hat! Using Upholstery fabric I found at a yard sale..... I also got a little help here....

The elastic was fed through the hat band to take an enormous hat and make it fit my 3 year old..... then I covered the seam by attaching some fire flowers and thrifted lace..........

You Will Need (5 things)

  • 1 x handmade or store bought Fabric Flower
  • 1 yd Thick enough for your band Lace Trim
  • 1 yd Contrasting Fabric also funky medium to heavy weight fabric..... Choose the same weight as your other fabric
  • 1 yd Funky Medium To Heavy Weight Fabric ( 6 8 Triangles That Are 10" Tall By 6" Wide At The Base)
  • 1 yd non rolling Elastic
