About

I have told you before that i love the designs of Max Velthuijs and because of his drawings on the boxes and the product i always buy them;-D
But i thought what can i make more of it.
On the wrapping they made a suggestion to make a show box, but i thought why not making a shadow box of it, and not a shadow box of a box of a cheese wrapping.
I loved the special round design of this brand i thought hummm in that special space on the behind you can make the hole for a screw to hang him on the wall.
so i started to figured it out, how i must do it.
and thought mayby you like to make this too .
i have seen sooo much shadow boxes but most of them aren't my style.
you mayby don't love this either.LOL but you can make you own by using your fave figures .LOL
And i think everybody will love such a gift.
it' will cost you almost nothing only some patience. I have used only scraps and things that i had to trow away. so it didn't cost me anything, mayby for you a little bit.
hope you like it.

Note:
use for the hot glue gun some cocktail sticks to press down the figure in the inside of the box.
the time is whitout drying time.

Be creative and use your maginaiting by making yours, and have fun with the project;-D
thank you for hopping by;-D

You Will Need (13 things)

  • Scissors
  • Cereal Box Wrappings
  • Glitter Glue
  • Cocktail Stick(s)
  • Sharpies
  • Marker Pen(s)
  • White Glue
  • Exacto Knife
  • Glitter
  • Plastic Box from a desert or cheese with a lid
  • Clear Glue
  • Hot Glue Gun and sticks
  • Rhinestone(s)

Steps (14 steps, 180 minutes)

  1. 1

choose a plastic box, i had this tiny cheese box. Make it carefully clean with water and soap and dry it.

  2. 2

make an hole in the box in the middle
    watch the picture.

  3. 3

Glue the outside with with glue and add a layer on it of glitter.
    Let it dry.

  4. 4

    search for nice pictures.
i had a lot of kikker boxes and used the other scraps too to cut some tiny things out of.
Like flowers , grass and nice brenches with leaves and the animals .
the piggy had not of his own wings , i have added it myself.LOL
Piggy are funny when they can fly off.LOL
You can use mine or search your own ones.
Cut them out of the carton.

  5. 5

colour the pictures with glitter and markers and sharpies.

  6. 6

Glue the brenches on the front of the window from the box.
add the butterfly and some flowers on the brenches.
i had used for that hot glue.(be carefull those glue drops can be very hot-aarg)!
so be gentle and smart to use a coctail stick to hold the tiny figures and shapes on there places when you have drop some glue on them;-D

  7. 7

    the inside.
at first folding the strips down, every picture of mine had a cut or two in those strips to secure them better inside the box on their places.
    Look the pict .

  8. 8

look what you what to use, i like the little gras the most in front of the window because it give some more depth..
then i glued the dragon fly behind it,
and on the other side a little bit futher away of the window the piggy.
At first i had thought of more to glue, but it is just a small box en then it's not fun anymore too crowded and you will lose all the depth you want.

  9. 9

    The inside look:
Check if it is what you want you can still change things.
Because if you glue lot of dark pictures it would be too dark inside to see what is inside!!!!

  10. 10

Because of the fact you have a small window you can better draw on the lid with markers a landscape.

  11. 11

Make with an awl a hole in the upside in the lid and the box, watch the picture.

  12. 12

closed the box by putting the lid on the box. mayby you will use some glue drops.

  13. 13

glue on the border between the edge from the lid and the box some rhinestones.

  14. 14

make up your mind will you hang it on your wall or just give it away.
I hope you like to make this and use your creativity and have a lot of fun;-D
    Love to see yours!!!;-D
