Make a bead bangle

When you're looking to make a quick, fun bangle using any beads of your choice … look no further, this is a great design! Especially fun to make with children, as they can thread all the beads on … and if you don't have beads to hand, painted uncooked pasta shapes can also be fun for threading!

You Will Need (6 things)
-
Tools required:
- Round, flat, chain nosed Pliers
- Wire Cutters
-
Materials required:
- 20 -gauge/0.8mm Wire
- Bead(s) of your choice (and maybe one focal bead)
Steps (4 steps, 35 minutes)
-
1
Depending on the overall length of the bangle, cut about 10” of 20-gauge wire. Using the tips of your chain nosed pliers, fold the end of the wire back (about 2”) and squeeze together with your flat nosed pliers to double up. Leaving about 1” of doubled wire, wrap the rest around the stem to secure. Cut off any excess.
-
2
Place the widest part of your round nosed pliers about a third up on the doubled wire and bend around to form a loop or hook. Use the very tips of your round nosed pliers to create a tiny lip at the very tip of the hook.
-
3
Start threading the length with your chosen beads until it fits your wrist circumference.
-
4
Using your round nosed pliers, create a large wrapped loop at the end of the wire, to form the clasp fastener.
