I finally turned a little shelf I had been hanging onto, into something beautiful that I wanted to show off. This little thrift store shelf was brought back to life with a few supplies that most crafters already have at home.

Make sure your shelf is clean by wiping off any dirt and dust.
Give the shelf a fresh coat of paint.
When the paint was dry, I used paper towels to get the shapes of the inserts I would be needing for the shelf.
Use the paper towel guides to cut out your craft paper.
Use Mod Podge to add the craft paper. I set a book on the paper until it was completely dry.
I added a layer of Mod Podge over the craft paper also.
That's all there is to it... now I have a fun little shelf that I love!
