Makeover a thrift store blazer with gold lace and gems

About

This no sew project is a great way to add style to something donation bound or picked up at a thrift store. Just add gold lace (or a color you like) and gems with E-6000 Fabri Fuse and you're good to go. This was inspired by Christian Lacroix from the 80s. You Will Need (6 things)

  • Flat back Gems
  • Scissors
  • Gold Trim
  • Gold Lace
  • Black Blazer
  • E-6000 Fabri-Fuse

Steps (3 steps, 60 minutes)

  1. 1

    Gold lace and trims
    E-6000 Fabri-Fuse
    Gems
    Scissors
*If you don't have gold lace, paint white lace with DecoArt Dazzling Metallics

  2. 2

Figure out your lace and gem placement
Pin it in place if you have to so that it doesn't move around
*I like to photograph it with my phone while I experiment
Glue it in place with E-6000 Fabri-Fuse

  3. 3

Glue trim around the edges and make sure to add some to the shoulder area
If you don't have gold lace or have a hard time finding it, paint regular white lace with
DecoArt Dazzling Metallics in a gold tone
    that you like
