After seeing similar in a craft shop I thought I'd give it a go as I had some water soluble fabric. They are really fun to make, if a little frustrating at times. Once you have your fabric scraps inside a double layer of soluble fabric secured inside an embroidery hoop the fun begins! It is strangely exhilarating sewing like crazy until everything is covered. Also very exciting when the fabric is washed away and you can see your bowl take form. In some tutorials i have seen it recommends spraying with clear UV resistant acrylic, but I haven't got that yet so I sprayed it with starch. So far they have kept their shape. They were all christmas presents and the reactions were priceless. I do love when that happens :-)
