Once upon a time a was a little 4 years old girl with a hiperactive behavior and a worried mom... Unfortunatelly (for her), I found her jewelry box at that age... Like 22 years ago, she bought a beautiful necklace in Acapulco beach(Mexico) and she loved it, a year later I used it as a tiara playing with my barbies and broke it. (=..<) Obviously, I was shouted, cursed, grounded, and ignored for the rest of that month =<. I always remembered that episode of my life with sadness, but, mom gave me an enormous impression when last week she told me: "Now that you are playing to be the jewelry girl, I want you to fix something I love" I almost cried when she showed me the beads... I couldn't believe she kept those beads for over 20 years!!! And most amazingly (and the funny part of everything), I couldn't believe she was asking ME to make a 17" creation with only 10 round beads and a leaf bead=O!!!!! I didn't know what to do with them!!!(Now I'm assamed that my mouth was open the whole conversation.) So I got inspired for this one, and, I liked the result. Of course, when I was done, I stand my mom up in front of her mirror with her eyes closed, I put the necklace on and... well... her expression was one of those moments that I will never forget in my entire life. Last night she told me "I'm waiting a special occasion to use that necklace" and I told her: "Mom, you waited 20 years to wear it again... isn't that an special occasion??!!"
