I'd tried a banana bread recipe from this website before, but it didn't come out very well. Then a friend baked some that was DELICIOUS, so I borrowed her recipe and made it myself! Here's what you will need: 8oz Self Raising flour 1/4 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda Pinch of salt 3oz butter 6oz caster sugar 2 medium eggs 1lb bananas 4oz walnuts or raisins

Here's what you will need: 8oz Self Raising flour 1/4 tsp Bicarbonate of Soda Pinch of salt 3oz butter 6oz caster sugar 2 medium eggs 1lb bananas 4oz walnuts or raisins
Mix together the Bicarbonate of Soda, salt, and half the flour.
Cream the butter and sugar until pale fluffy.
Beat the eggs and add them to the mixture, with a little more flour.
Mash up the bananas, then stir into the mixture with the remaining flour and walnuts/raisins (whichever you want!)
Pour mixture into a loaf tin, and put in the oven for an hour and a half on gas mark 4. Enjoy!
