gather all your supplies on a clean work surface.
soak your lace + doilies in your diluted mixture of modge podge for about 5 minutes. Take out and pinch in center. wrap a piece of wire around each "bloom" in the center and set out to dry.
Check on them in about 20 minutes and you can start to "arrange" the petals so they stick up and out in all directions. let dry completely. 1-2 hours
Take your twine and wrap around your 4 fingers of your hand. Wrap 6-10 times. Slide off your hand and pinch at end. Wrap with wire to create a new "bloom"
arrange the "petals"
cut your styrofoam ball in half and stick in the tea cup.
once your "blooms" are complete, arrange all the petals until you are happy with them. Make sure the wire is secure and that the "petals" drap over the wire, so you can't see it.
Take your hat pins and gently insert into the center of your blooms. This will make the "stem" of your "bloom"
Then begin arranging your bouquet by sticking the pins into the styrofoam securely.
have fun arranging and even think of new materials you might want to add -- we added in some super ornate black lace here.
enjoy.
