  • Felt
  • Black & pink Embroidery Floss
  • Snap Button(s) and setter
  • Needle
  • Scissors

Steps (12 steps, 40 minutes)

  1. 1

Here's the cross-stitch pattern you'll need for the tea bag's face.

  2. 2

Thread your needle with 3 strands of black embroidery floss and stitch your eyes.

  3. 3

    Now stitch the smile.

  4. 4

Thread a needle with 3 strands of pink embroidery floss and fill in the mouth.

  5. 5

Cut around the face in a tea bag shape.

  6. 6

Cut a square of felt tall enough to wrap around your tea bag twice plus a little for an overlap.

    Fold the bottom half up.

  7. 7

Stitch around the tea bag on to the front of the felt.

  8. 8

Stitch around the sides of the felt, making a little pocket.

Stitch a piece of floss from the top of the tea bag and stitch near the top right corner of the pouch.

  9. 9

Cut a small square of cross-stitch fabric and stitch at the top of the string.

  10. 10

Press sides of a snap button to the pouch and the flap.

  11. 11

Fill with your favourite tea bags.

  12. 12

    You're all done!
