My best friend brought me back some Yen coins from Japan, and when I got into hemp jewelry making, I knew I needed to use the fifty yen coin (has a hole in the center) in one of my projects. So, it's the centerpiece of this choker. I'm a big fan of colorful things, and anyone who knows me knows I'm bisexual, and am big on displaying my gay pride, so that's why the wooden barrel beads are in a rainbow pattern. Unfortunately you can't really see the details of the coin in the picture. Google a fifty yen piece, and you'll see they're quite lovely. The 'how to' I followed did not explain how to make this specific project, but all of the basics one needs to know to make something similar. Check the linkage for it.
