This was really yummy and it always is! It's a great recipe I got from my aunt! I have been begging my mum to make it and finally she let me! Its really filling after 1 piece unless you are super hungry then you won't go hungry until after about 5 pieces.

First peel your apples.
Next cut them in half and take out the core.
Now put the apples in the pan the make sure they fit!
Next take out the apples and melt the butter and sugar in the same pan as you put the apples in. mix around till its all melted
Place the apples in the pan now so the look like this, every now and again shuffle them about with the spoon so the don't stick. When the apples are a golden colour they are done.
Now roll out the pastry very large so it can fit over the pan with some extra space.
Place the pastry you have rolled out over the apples and cut or tear the edges that are hanging over the edge of the pan. And tuck the edges in the side so they look like they do in the picture below. Put it in the oven for about 25 minutes on 180 C. If its is not a golden colour by then put it in for about another 5 to 10 minutes.
Now once the pie is out the oven place a plate on top of the pie...
and flip it over and take off the plate. How easy is that?
ENJOY (serve warm) Also if it collapses don't worry it still will taste great!
